Overview
The goal of the programme is to provide students with high level knowledge ofnatural and technical sciences related to the field of information technology inorder to enable them to design, improve, implement and integrate IT systems,and furthermore, to coordinate and perform research and development tasks forIT purposes. The students will also be prepared to continue their studies in thePh.D programme at Széchenyi István University.

Programme structure
The degree requires acquisition of 120 credits, where 1 credit equals one ECTS credit, and 1 credit is defined as 25 working hours.
The courses of the programme are divided into six categories:
• knowledge of natural sciences (20 credits)
• knowledge of economics and human sciences (9 credits)
• computer science engineering essentials (33 credits)
• computer science engineering electives (22 credits)
• freely elected courses (6 credits)
• master’s thesis preparation (30 credits)
