Description of selection and entrance examination process: Assessment of the uploaded documents, language skills (language certificate is necessary: TOEFL, IELTS etc.), professional competence and motivation. Online interview (via Skype or Zoom), The Centre for International Relations will contact all applicants to set up a suitable time for the online interview. Applicants will be interviewed by appointed staff members from the Department and the Centre for International Relations. Professors will check the applicant’s preliminary knowledge of the chosen study area and motivation. The Centre for International Relations will check the language skills and intercultural competences of the applicant.
Applications are accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): Armenia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, State of Palestine, Syria.

The program – based on agricultural, economic, regional management and rural sociology studies – focuses primarily on the understanding of the current problems of sustainable development and rural regions, the cooperation in the possible directions of development, the preparation of actual development projects, as well as the management and monitoring of project implementation.
The training also covers local economic development, project management, regional economics, agricultural markets and agricultural policy.
The most special feature of the course is the organization of study trips. “Learning by seeing” is stressed through the visits to different scales of farms, municipalities and rural development agencies and projects, as well as to our partner universities in neighbouring Slovakia and Romania. T
he wide range of management and rural development skills enable the graduates to pursue different careers and adapt their knowledge to different conditions in their home countries.
