Program description:
Training of civil engineers includes the acquisition of competences in construction, operation and maintenance, management and magisterial duties. After graduation, students can handle planning and research tasks independently. They will also be able to participate in complex planning projects. Two specializations are possible within this BSc: 1. Regional Water Management Specialization (students attending this specialization are familiarized with river management, stream control, flood management, agricultural water management issues such as drainage and irrigation, as well as for mountain entrapment. They acquire engineering skills for implementing methods of watershed control in flatland and hilly areas as well as water utilizationand the management of wetlands) 2. Water Supply and Sewerage Specialization (design and operation of facilities and systems for drinking water purification and distribution has the greatest importance in this field. In our education plan, a signification effort had been given to teaching the chemical and biological fundamentals of water and wastewater purification processes as well as the basics of mechanical process control and automation practices)

Entrance exam description:
The Coordinator will get in contact with Applicants via e-mail. The e-mail contains the schedule of the recruiting process – including the details of on-line written and oral exams. The result of on-line written exam will be verified by a Recruiting Committee and the applicants will have to participate in an oral (Skype) interview. Applicant’s scores are determined as follows: – Results of the candidate’s preliminary studies (secondary school graduation) – Results of the online entrance exams. During the recruiting process the Committee examines the Applicant’s motivation background and knowledge of English language.
