Overview

Program description:
The program – based on agricultural, economic, management and rural sociology studies – focuses primarily on the understanding of the current problems of sustainable development and rural regions, the cooperation in the possible directions of development, the preparation of actual development projects, as well as the management and monitoring of project implementation. The training also covers local economic development, project management, regional economics, agricultural markets, agricultural policy. The most special feature of the course is the organization of frequent study trips. “Learning by Seeing” is stressed through the visits to different scales of farms, municipalities and rural development agencies and projects, as well as to our partner universities in neighbouring Slovakia and Romania. The wide range of management and rural development skills enable the graduates to pursue different careers and adapt their knowledge to different conditions in their home countries.

BSc degree in a related field, min. B2 level of English

Entrance exam description:
Assessment of the uploaded documents, language skills (language certificate is necessary: TOEFL, IELTS etc.), professional competence and motivation by programme leaders. Skype interview, if necessary.
